The Mountain Lakes Crew Club is a
501(c)(3) non profit corporation which provides a competitive rowing
opportunity for high school students in Morris County, New Jersey.
Although the club has only been in existence since 2006, it has quickly
developed into a strong program. New rowers are always invited to visit
to see whether competitive rowing is a sport for you.
Our Mission
To develop a competitive rowing program in Morris County by
training
and educating high school students in the sport of rowing, striving to
make each team member in the program successful.
Our Objectives
- To provide team members with the required rowing skills
- To increase the strength, endurance and discipline of
each team
member
- To help team members understand the importance of
commitment, team
work and collaboration
- To provide a safe and accepting environment for team
members to
learn the required skills
- To be competitive in both our spring and fall programs
- To establish friendships, re-inforcing the need for
trust and
respect as a foundation for a strong team
