Take Route 9 north, stay to the right as you pass the Mid-Hudson Bridge. You have two options:
1. take the Main Street exit immediately after the Bridge, left onto main street, pass the Train Station and take a right onto Water St., continue past the Children’s Museum, Hoffman Street Bridge and the old abandoned Dutton Lumberyard, go through the main gate and follow the main road, which doubles back on itself in a hairpin turn, the HRRA Community Boathouse is at the very end of this road. This route brings by restaurants and stores if you are interested in stopping for food, coffee, a haircut, a paper, etc.
2. or you can take the second exit past the Bridge – Albany Street. This will also be a right hand exit, go through the flashing red light and take a left onto Hoffman Street where it forms a T, veer to the left and take a right onto the Hoffman Street Bridge and another right onto Water Street – be cautious on this bridge, visibility is poor. Take Water Street past the old abandoned Dutton Lumberyard, go through the main gate and follow the main road, which doubles back on itself in a hairpin turn, the HRRA Community Boathouse is at the very end of this road.
